Sources, attribution and open data

Bahrain School Ratings is an independent interface built on official public sources. Official grades and source records remain attributable to the issuing authorities; search, grouping, trend labels, comparisons and explanatory presentation are produced by this website.

Source transparency: pages using live school data show the retrieval time in the interface. If the official feed is temporarily unavailable, the interface identifies the fallback rather than presenting cached results as live.

How attribution works on this site

School-review source data is credited to the Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA) and the Kingdom of Bahrain Open Data Portal. Retrieval time for live data is displayed on the relevant interface. Any filtering, grouping, “Improving / Stable / Declining” label, comparison layout or explanatory text is Bahrain School Ratings’ own transformation and should not be read as a government ranking or endorsement.

Fallback data

A small verified snapshot of recent BQA results is bundled only as a resilience fallback. When it is used, the interface labels it clearly and identifies it as a cached July 2026 BQA result snapshot rather than live data.

Corrections

If a displayed record appears inconsistent with an official source, use the official report as the authority and contact contact@bahrainschoolratings.com so the transformation can be checked.
